From vines in Valtuille de Arriba with an average age of 30 years, at an altitude of 575 m. Clayey, mineral soil. Manual harvesting and hand-sorting of bunches at the winery.
Cold fermentation for 30 days in new 500-litre French oak barrels. Gravity flow and maturation in the same barrels for two months on the lees with daily stirring.
A powerful, silky wine with a distinct Atlantic freshness. Its ageing in barrels gives it a fine-toast bouquet.
